Grimsley High School welcomed the Classic back on May 30, with another generation taking the court in Josh’s memory. Greensboro Day guard Micah Gunter earned the main game’s MVP award, adding his name to the event’s growing basketball history.

The Rising Stars game returned after a year away and came down to the closing possessions. Team Joe edged Team Juice, 107–104. Official MVP Aaron Parker finished with 28 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks. Elijah Fapojuwo added 20 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.
